The reviews that have been coming out have been great! Thank you all very much for your kind words! I'm trying to write back everyone who sends mail, but I just moved back to NYC and I'm not around the internet that much... So bear with me for a while...

I haven't seen it with my own eyes yet, but it looks like GUERILLAS is officially on the stands!!! I'm told the printing looks excellent, too!
So far I've ferreted out two reviews online, one at comicdorkscast and one at comicpants. They're both pretty favorable...
So go out and buy one! And write in and tell me what you think! I'll put you in the letters page!

The first issue is due in stores on Wednesday! If you've been checking in, please go out and pick one up. Gotta support the independents!

Lambiek.com is a self described Comiclopedia. They have entries on every comic book artist that you could ever think of... and I just found out that they put an entry in for little ol' me.
How cool is that! I gotta say that it's definitely one of the coolest things to happen since I started making this comic.
I'm in an encyclopedia!

There's another interview over at wizarduniverse.com. For this one I actually talked with someone over the phone. It really seemed like I rambled on and on, going off on tangents, but the interviewer did a great job of making me seem semi-coherent. So I'd like to thank Kevin Mahadeo for that. I should also thank Michael Patrick Sullivan over at CBR. He did a great piece too!
Free press... That's something you just can't buy...

I've just confirmed that the first issue will be in stores on August 27th. It's a week late from it's scheduled release, but what are you gonna do?

I decided I'm gonna call the letters page "Monkey Business," and I figured I should draw up a helper monkey to watch over the columns for me. I'll post the finished art in a day or two.
By the way, it only took one monkey and one typewriter to write and draw GUERILLAS...

I wanted to disclose early on that I'm a Mets fan. The Mets are one of those teams that will break your heart over and over again... Tonight was another one of those heart breaking losses... But whenever things seem the most bleak, I look to Mr. Met... and I fall in love all over again. The season's still young. Let's go Mets!

Hello and welcome to my new website! "What is GUERILLAS?" you may be asking yourself... Well, GUERILLAS is my new comic book which is due out on August 20th. It's gonna be a nine issue mini-series published by image comics, and it's gonna follow some crazy chimpanzees as they fight their way through the Vietnam War.
My name is Brahm Revel. I'm that guy down there with the camouflage hat, drinking the soda. I wrote and illustrated GUERILLAS. I'll be posting news, bits of art, and other cool things as I work my way through the long process of making a big ol' comic book.
In the previews section there is a 5-page preview of the first issue. And once the first issue is out, there will be some goodies to buy in the shop. Thanks for stopping by and come back soon!
