I see it's been over a month since I last posted... Shame on me... Well at least I return with good news. It looks like Image has agreed to print the
I SELL THE DEAD comic! Look for it in the September previews...

More soon, I promise...

It's big cover time! That means that GUERILLAS #4 will be in stores this Wednesday! Run out and go get one one before they're all gone!

If my sources are correct, the 4th issue should be in stores next Wednesday!

To celebrate the good news, I've posted a 5 page preview here, in the previews section. Also! I have posted the entire first issue for anyone who hasn't gotten the chance to pick it up... It can be found here, also in the previews section. But I warn you... if you read the first issue, you're gonna want to read the rest of them... I'm just saying...

Check back soon... I'll be posting the cover this week...

GUERILLAS #4 is finally at the printers! Below is the finished page from two posts ago... I'm really excited about this issue, I think it's gonna be a good one!

Up next I'll be starting work on GUERILLAS #5 while I finish up work on I SELL THE DEAD! There's gonna be some long weeks ahead...

And last but not least, there's a podcast interview with lil' ol' me over at Comixology. I have to thank Peter Jaffe, who conducted the interview, for an excellent talk... Comixology has a lot of very forward thinking ideas about comics and the web... Definitely worth checking out...

That's all for now... Cheers!

I haven't posted in a while because I've been feverishly trying to finish up the 4th issue. And believe it or not, I'm actually very close...

Here's one of the freshly inked panels...

And, pages from issue 3 are now up on display at Bergen Street Comics. If you live in or around Brooklyn you should definitely go check it out. It's a beautiful new shop and well worth the trip.

Cheers!

Back to work after the Con...

I'm trying to start doing warm up sketches before I start working everyday. If this works I'll try to post more often and show you what's on the drawing board.

This one was slightly inspired by the John Constantine character from Hellblazer. I'm ashamed to say that I've never read any Hellblazer. I'm not even sure if he uses guns...

It was done with a brush pen...

The NY Comic Con turned out great! This was my fourth NYCC, but it was my first one as a "professional."

To my surprise, people had actually heard of GUERILLAS, and many fans and industry people had a lot of nice things to say about the book. I have to thank Nathan Fox for going above and beyond the call of duty and introducing me to tons of great creators. If you are unaware of his work please check it out. He is a true artist's artist.

I also did a few impromptu podcast interviews while I was on the floor and I'll post links to them when I hear they're up. There may also be a videocast interview with me in the works which would happen over at Bergen Street Comics in Brooklyn. It's a brand new store set to open on March 3rd. So if you're in the neighborhood check them out too!

I leave you with an image from the fourth issue of GUERILLAS. This one is gonna be a real thrill ride...

I will be attending the NY Comic Con for all three days this weekend! I don't have a table or any fancy signings scheduled though... Instead, I'll be wandering around handing out GUERILLAS stickers. I'm tall and I'll be wearing a GUERILLAS T-shirt, so if you see me, say hi!

If you can't find me and you want to meet up, send me an email and we can arrange a time and place... Unfortunately, I won't have any pages for sale though...

I hope to see you there! Below is a scan of the hand made business cards I made for this illustrious event... DYI rocks!
